【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversround,square,rectangular,andspecialshape,electric-resistance-weldedmechanicaltubing,eitherzinc-coated(galvanized)afterweldingorproducedfromaluminum-coated,zinc-coated(galvanized),zinc-ironalloy-coated(galvannealed),or55%aluminum-zincalloy-coatedsteelsheet.Tubingforuseaselectricalconduit(EMT)orintermediatemetallicconduit(IMC)isnotcoveredbythisspecification.1.2Thisspecificationcoversmechanicaltubingwithoutsidediametersormaximumoutsidedimensionsrangingfrom1/2to8in.(12.7to203.2mm)andwallthicknessfrom0.028to0.134in.(0.71to3.40mm).1.3Sizesoutsidetherangeslistedabovemaybeorderedprovidedallotherrequirementsofthespecificationaremet.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.
